শাহরুখ যখন কবি!

পর্দায় তাকে কবিতা আওড়াতে দেখা গেছে বহুবার। তবে ভারতীয় অভিনেতা শাহরুখ খান এবার সত্যিই বনে গেছেন কবি; নিজের লেখা কবিতা দর্শকদের পড়েও শুনিয়েছেন তিনি।

তরুণদের মধ্যে জনপ্রিয় ব্যান্ডদল ‘ওয়ান ডিরেকশন’ এর গায়ক জায়ান মালিক শাহরুখকে অনুপ্রানিত করেছেন শাহরুখ খানতে কবিতা লেখার জন্য। ভারতীয় লেখিকা গুঞ্জান জেইন-এর একটি বইয়ের প্রকাশনা অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ দিতে গিয়ে সম্প্রতি এমনটাই জানালেন শাহরুখ। জেইনকে উদ্দেশ্য করে লেখা একটি পত্র পড়ার ঠিক আগে আগেই নিজের লেখক স্বত্তার কথা দর্শকদের সামনে তুলে ধরেন শাহরুখ।

পত্রটি পড়ার সময় শাহরুখ বললেন, “মেয়েদের নিয়ে জায়ান মালিক এর অসাধারন একটি উক্তি আছে যা আমি পড়তে যাচ্ছি। আমার মেয়ের জন্য ক্ষেত্রেও মনে প্রানে বিশ্বাস করি এই কথাগুলো। যখন লন্ডনে তার সঙ্গে আমার প্রথম দেখা হয়, তার চিন্তাধারা, লেখনি আমাকে প্রবলভাবে উৎসাহিত করে। এখান থেকে অনুপ্রানিত হয়ে পৃথিবীর সব মেয়েদের জন্য আমার অনুভূতি নিয়ে আমিও একটি কবিতা অথবা অন্তত ছড়ার মতো কিছু একটা লিখি।”

শাহরুখ এর কবিতার প্রথম পঙ্কতিটি ছিল এরকম, “এটি সেই মেয়েদের জন্য, সারা রাত যারা জেগে থাকে; এটি তোমাদেরই জন্য, যারা প্রস্তুত লড়াইয়ের জন্যে।”

ইংরেজিতে লেখা পুরো কবিতাটি এরকম:

"This is for girls who stay up all night, this is for you who is willing to fight.

For hidden fears, hurt, pain and tears, under the smiles, laughs, and giggles we hear.

Let your hair down, straight or curls, you're beautiful because you fight like a girl.

For girls who wear short skirts, and their heart on their sleeve, for girls who know how difficult it is to believe.

The girls who scream and cry to the pillows and tell them their goals, for girls who have a secret, but can't tell a soul.

Let your eyes be your diamonds, make them your pearls, you're beautiful because you fight like a girl.

For girls who have made mistakes and have regrets galore, for girls that may not win, but always get up from the floor.

The girls who take life as comes, the girl who have broken the code, for the girls who hope, that they'll get better somewhere down the road.

Let your steps be a dance and jump and do the swirl, you're beautiful because you fight like a girl.

For the girls who love with all their heart, although sometimes gets broke, to girls who think it's over, to real girls, all girls, who have tears to soak.

You throw, you pick up and fall. But just tell the world I'm beautiful because I fight like a girl."

২০১৫ সালে লন্ডনে অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়া ‘এশিয়ান অ্যাওয়ার্ডস’-এ দেখা হয় কিং খান আর জায়ান মালিক-এর। সেখানে তাদের তোলা সেলফিটি তখন ছড়িয়ে পড়ে ইন্টারনেটময়। ভারতে ওই সময় টুইটারে সবচেয়ে বেশি রি-টুইট করা পোস্ট ছিল তাদের এই ছবিটি। পরবর্তীতে নিজের সিনেমা ‘ফ্যান’ এর উদ্বোধনী প্রদর্শনীতে জায়ানকে দাওয়াতও দেন শাহরুখ।
